The Vintage Petrol Pump Garage
Rather further afield than the Alfa trade, but worth knowing if you are in the north of England: a family-run classic-car dealer in North Yorkshire, near Scarborough, with more than fifty years behind it. The name is a relic of its early days restoring vintage petrol pumps and automobilia; the business now deals chiefly in post-war sporting classics. Cars are bought and sold outright or handled on a no-sale-no-fee commission basis, with delivery arranged anywhere on mainland Britain. Not an Alfa specialist, and no claim is made otherwise — simply a long-standing local dealer in interesting cars, and the sort of place a Yorkshire enthusiast ought to know about.
